The Science Museum has announced that its new interactive gallery, Wonderlab: The Statoil Gallery, will be made available for corporate hire from 11 October.

The £6m gallery is dedicated to everyday science phenomena, with guests able to take a selfie in the infinity mirror, order experiments at the Chemistry Bar and watch a real life lightening strike.

The Wonderland event space is 1,600sqm and able to accommodate up to 400 guests for evening receptions. The gallery can also be hire along with an adjoining 120-capacity auditorium.

Jodie Guilford, event sales manager at the Science Museum, commented: “We are really excited to be able to offer Wonderlab: The Statoil Gallery as a new space for events at the museum.

“The gallery is our most interactive to date, which makes it the perfect location to host drinks receptions where guests can network among the exhibits and enjoy watching live demonstrations courtesy of our fantastic explainers.”
