Access All AreasOne of Europe’s largest reggae festivals, Reggae Land attracted a record 95,000 fans this year.
The JBM Music promoted event at the 65,000-capacity Milton Keynes National Bowl from 2-3 August involved a line-up of reggae, dancehall, and roots music acts including Chronixx, Capleton, Mavado, Dexta Daps and Gyptian.
Head of marketing Bill Rogers said, “We couldn’t be happier with how Reggae Land turned out this year. We welcomed 95,000 people to The Milton Keynes National Bowl for our biggest edition yet. It’s been incredible to watch the festival grow and bring so many people together through a shared love of reggae and Jamaican culture. We’ve already got exciting plans in motion for next year, and while we can’t reveal too much just yet, let’s just say it’s going to be even bigger and better than ever before.”
The promoter said this year’s Reggae Land saw a world record set for the largest rum punch ever made, producing a 1,000-litre Caribbean cocktail in partnership with Duppy Share.
In 2023 Reggae Land became the first dedicated reggae and Caribbean culture festival to be staged at Milton Keynes Bowl. The festival will return to the venue for its 2026 edition on 1- 2 August.
