Temporary event power and lighting solutions provider Power Logistics has opened a base in Ireland as part of an expansion plan that will see it open further offices throughout Europe.

The company, which has been supplying temporary event power in Ireland for more than 15 years, has opened a permanent base in Cork. Over the summer the company, which provides sustainable power solutions, supplied shows Live at the Marquee (pictured) show in Cork and at Iveagh Gardens in Dublin.

Power Logistics director Pete Wills said further office openings across Europe will be announced in the next few months: “We have been operating successfully and delivering temporary power solutions to some of Ireland’s most prestigious events for more than 15 years now and, post-pandemic, we only see this expanding further. There is a real opportunity for growth and, whilst having equipment and personnel permanently based in Ireland, we can ensure we remain competitive. This also supports our ability to deliver sustainable solutions which remains a key focus for the business.”
