Kristyna O'ConnellUS-based Oak View Group (OVG), venue developer and manager, has announced the launch of a new full suite of venue services in Europe.
Nearly six months after the eventual opening of Co-op Live in Manchester (cap. 23,500), the UK’s largest indoor concert venue is set to expand its offerings with this suite of services, which will include expertise in venue development, management, premium hospitality and food service, booking, sponsorship sales and marketing.
Led by Jessica Koravos (pictured), president, OVG International and Chris Granger, president, OVG360, the international venue services team includes many veterans of the UK live entertainment and sports industry including Rebecca Kane Burton, who was recently announced as executive vice-president of venue management.
Koravos noted that Co-op Live had already welcomed nearly one million fans. It has also hosted more than 40 events. Among the shows scheduled in 2025 are the MTV EMAs, which will be held in Manchester for the first time this November, as well as two exclusive UK arena performances by Bruce Springsteen.
She said: “Our suite of service offerings is rooted in that knowledge and experience and paired with experts who have forged their careers in the European live entertainment and sports landscape, bringing real value to our clients.”
Chris Granger, president of OVG360, added that, as owners and operators, the company had a strong commitment to understanding the challenges faced by venue owners, highlighting that a unique partnership approach, along with a mission to bring positive disruption to the live entertainment and sports sector, had driven their growth over the past three years.
