Live entertainment platform Fever has raised $250m (£186m) in a new funding round led by EQT.

The round also includes Baillie Gifford, Point72 Private Investments and other existing shareholders.

Fever, which owns UK-headquartered ticketing platform DICE, announced the funding today (September 17).

The company did not give an updated valuation. However, Spanish broadcaster Atresmedia said on Tuesday (September 15) that it had sold its entire stake in Fever, which was just over 5%, for approximately €227m (£195m).

The buyer was existing Fever shareholder Vitruvian Partners, according to Cinco Días and Europa Press. The deal values Fever at around €4.5bn (£3.9bn).

Fever said its revenue has more than tripled over the past three years while remaining EBITDA-positive. It now operates in more than 55 countries and has expanded its presence in North America and Asia.

Fever said the funding will be used to expand into new markets and grow across different areas of live entertainment.

Fever was founded in Spain and is headquartered in New York. It was founded by Ignacio Bachiller, Francisco Hein and Alexandre Perez.
