Co-op Live (cap. 23,500), operated by Oak View Group, said it has become the first UK arena to debut 3D living building plans using CoreSpec 3D technology.

The new technology, from American AI company Boom Interactive Inc, uses AI and 3D modelling to enable the arena’s team to visualise what the venue will look like for any given event, and provides fully interactive floorplans that replace static blueprints.

According to Co-op Live, the 3D floorplan will enhance communication, planning, security and maintenance, with the AI platform capturing data which can “accelerate project timelines and operational efficiency.” The technology enables the venue team to modify operational plans in real time between events, including adjustments to safety protocols and event management.

Co-op Live senior vice president and general manager Guy Dunstan said, “This innovative partnership with Boom Interactive adds further and considerable weight to our production and operations. Standing at the forefront of technological development, it offers the opportunity to quickly assess, develop and drive planning and delivery across all the venue’s core functions, improving the experience for fans, event organisers, and artists alike.”
