Temporary power provider CES Power has announced a new Irish leadership team following the acquisitions of GH Energy Rental, Purecore and Event Power earlier this year.
The founders of the three businesses – John Galgey, Mark Barrett and Philip Lawler – have been appointed managing director, operations director and events director respectively, and will be charged with overseeing CES Power’s expansion across Ireland.
The event power specialist said the appointments bring decades of experience across the Irish temporary power market, with the acquisitions having already significantly enhanced the operator’s fleet of generators, lighting towers, transformers, distribution boards, cabling infrastructure and specialist power management systems, making it the largest power fleet in the UK and Ireland.
CES Power division president Europe Ailsa Webb said, “This leadership team brings together three powerhouses who know the Irish market inside out and have each built strong relationships with customers over many years. By combining that local expertise and technical skill with CES Power’s international scale, customers will not only have access to the largest power fleet in the UK and Ireland but the confidence that we understand the nuances of working within Ireland and what’s needed to make every project a success.”
