Max SteventonCameron House, located on the banks of Loch Lomond, will host a two-day tribute event titled Bowie: Live on the Loch on 7 and 8 November 2026.
The event will be promoted by Nexus Events and will raise funds for Save the Children.
The weekend event will feature live performances by former members of David Bowie’s band, including Earl Slick, Mike Garson, Mark Plati, Sterling Campbell, and Gail Ann Dorsey. It will also include a photography exhibition, screenings of previously unseen film footage of Bowie, and a charity guitar auction.
The event coincides with the 10th anniversary of Bowie’s death and the 60th anniversary of his first performance in Scotland on 3 April 1965 at the Palais in Dundee, when he played as David Bowie & The Buzz.
The weekend begins with a black-tie gala dinner at Cameron House. The evening will include a guitar auction hosted by Earl Slick and Regent Sounds, featuring signed guitars from contributors. The next day will feature a live concert with a house band composed of musicians who have performed with Bowie.
Funds raised during the weekend event will come from ticket sales, the charity auction, merchandise, live pledges, and the global livestream. Proceeds will support Save the Children’s work across education, healthcare, and child protection in the UK and internationally.
David Bowie previously supported Save the Children, donating proceeds from his 50th birthday concert at Madison Square Garden in 1997.
