Blue Note Records, a jazz record label, will be opening its first ever UK pop-up shop to celebrate their 80thanniversary.

The shop will be located at Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross, and will open on the opening night of the EFG London Jazz Festival 2019 – 15 November.

It will feature many things for fans of the label and music-lovers, including Blue Note 80 prints, audio and visual installations, and exclusive framed canvas artwork and merchandise, vinyl and CDs. There will also be DVD and Blu-Ray copies of the recent highly acclaimed film Blue Note Records Beyond The Notes, and a special revised 80th anniversary edition of the celebrated book; Blue Note: Uncompromising Expression: The Finest in Jazz Since 1939 by the late Richard Havers.

A range of additional events will take place at the pop-up, including special guest artists, music, cultural speakers and label representatives. These events will be announced across the EFG London Jazz Festival.
