Apple Corps has announced The Beatles at 3 Savile Row, a seven-floor ‘fan experience’ in the venue where the band staged their final public performance.

3 Savile Row in London was one of the first homes to The Beatles’ management company, Apple Corps Ltd, where the band recorded the album Let It Be, and the setting for The Beatles’ final public performance; a rooftop gig (pictured) on 30 January 1969.

Billed as the first official Beatles fan experience, The Beatles at 3 Savile Row is set to feature seven floors of material from Apple Corps’ archives, rotating exhibitions, a fan store, and the recreation of the original studio where John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr recorded Let it Be.

Apple Corps said the event will open in 2027, giving fans the opportunity to tread in the band’s footsteps. Since its launch in 1968, Apple Corps Ltd has overseen The Beatles’ creative and business interests. Its CEO Tom Greene said, “We’re thrilled to bring Apple Corps back to its spiritual home and give The Beatles fans something truly special. Every single day, fans are taking pictures of the outside of 3 Savile Row – but next year they can go in and explore all seven floors of the iconic building, including the rooftop where even the railings remain the same from that famous day in 1969.”

“It was such a trip to get back to 3 Savile Row recently and have a look around,” said Paul McCartney. “There are so many special memories within the walls, not to mention the rooftop. The team have put together some really impressive plans and I’m excited for people to see it when it’s ready.”

“This is huge news for fans of The Beatles across, not just the UK, but the world,” said creative industries minister Ian Murray. “It’ll truly allow people to ‘Come Together’ and experience the band like never before at an iconic venue which holds so much history. This is a key example of how our music and creative talent puts us on the map. The UK’s creative industries are one of our most invaluable assets. Our Creative Industries Sector Plan aims to tackle barriers to growth and build a skilled workforce, and I hope that this new experience will inspire the next generation to pursue careers within the industry.”
