Arena, the temporary seating expert, is supplying seating for some the biggest acts at Wembley Stadium this summer, including K-pop group BTS, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, The Eagles, and The Who.

The summer season looks to be a busy one for the company, which is also supplying seating for the Rod Stewart UK Tour, and Elton John concerts.

Often known for its presence in the sporting world, Arena has a lengthy history within the live music industry, working with concert promoter Live Nation for over 20 years, as well as many others, supplying countless live concerts throughout the years.

The biggest challenge for everyone involved is the number of shows performed back to back at Wembley, and all of them using different production teams with different seating, staging, and production requirements.

Seating has to be installed, dismantled, and removed within extremely tight timeframes, sometimes overnight, for each show.

Dave Withey, Arena UK & Europe sales director, commented: “We plan for months and months ahead of these concerts, ensuring we successfully execute the tight changeovers.

“We have to take out and put back seats multiple times and quickly. This requires a lot of preparation and planning, as well as a good knowledge of Wembley to ensure a smooth delivery.”

Arena has been in the seating business for over 30 years, with experience working on some of the largest and most complex events in the world, including the Wimbledon Championships, London 2012 Olympics, and Cheltenham Festival.
