The Power of Events (POE), a not-for-profit organisation launched to provide education for the events industry, has expanded its UK Schools Engagement programme to the Bath and Bristol region.
This comes after The Power of Events expanded the programme to London in June having rolled it out to the North West with a hub spanning Liverpool, Cheshire and Manchester in April.
The programme, which in the 2024-25 academic year engaged more than 100,000 young people in England, aims to provide insights, inspiration and career pathways into the events industry.
POE strategic advisor Bryan Raven said: “Having recently moved to the area I have a vested interest in this next phase. The launch of the Bath & Bristol region marks a continuous expansion in one of our core projects. With the incredible support of our ambassadors and sponsors, we look forward to making a lasting impact across this vital Creative Hub in the West Country.”
POS said it will mark the launch of the London arm of the programme with a reception on 1 October at the Amex Lounge in The O2.
