Stable Events, operator of events including The Game Fair and the Agria Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, has aquired canine appreciation event series DogFest.
DogFest, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, consists of a series of events across the UK that draw tens of thousands of dog owners with activations including dog agility courses, live demonstrations, educational talks and charity partnerships.
Agria Pet Insurance will become DogFest’s headline partner from 2025 onwards.
Stable Events said the acquisition represents a significant expansion of its portfolio of experiential events that connect people who share the same passions and lifestyles.
“We are excited to welcome DogFest to the Stable Events family,” said James Gower, Managing Director of Stable Events Ltd. “It has built a loyal following and is established as a standout event for dog lovers. We look forward to enhancing this experience by incorporating our unique expertise and introducing new elements that will ensure DogFest remains the UK’s leading dog devotees festival.”
The past decade has seen DogFest grown, under the ownership of Nicole Cooper, from a one weekend event to seven events across the country. “I am proud of what we have created with the DogFest brand. It has continued to grow from strength to strength with the support from the biggest brands in the industry. I am delighted that DogFest will now be part of the Stable Events portfolio, enabling it to continue on its growth trajectory in a thriving market,” says Cooper.
