PRG Gearhouse has doubled its annual investment in new technology as the company continues to eye expansion opportunities across the Middle East.

The appetite to invest is driven by ‘client demand and increasing market opportunities throughout the GCC territories’.

Having invested heavily during the summer period, the first products to arrive for PRG’s video department were the ROE Diamond 2.6mm LED screen and the award-winning ROE Carbon CB5 in their custom touring frames.

Matthew Holmes, PRG’s head of video for the region said: “Based on the increased demand for both indoor and outdoor LED, we considered various products and the ROE Diamond 2.6mm and Carbon CB5 were obvious choices for us given our already impressive global stock of these products. The brand is known for its relatability, versatility and quality and the Carbon CB5 already has a proven track record within the touring market as a solid LED screen, striking the perfect balance of stability and weight while preserving the easy setup and maintenance of all ROE products.

In addition, PRG purchased Brompton processing units with advanced Tessera protocols.

“The introduction of the highly anticipated ROE Diamond 2.6mm screen with curving kit and ultra-lightweight carbon and magnesium frame, adds a further dimension to our already impressive stock, enabling us to exceed our client expectations in the sub-3mm range to service any corporate environment,” he concluded.

“The demand in the market is clear,” added Harriet Stewart, director of sales “no sooner had the CB5 arrived in the warehouse to be checked and tested, it was prepped and shipped to two large events in Saudi Arabia.”

“Our investment this summer is not limited to technology, we have also invested extensively in personnel across the various disciplines, adding over 15 new recruits to our team with other opportunities to join the company.”
