PEEX, a music tech startup is now powering dates on Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road global tour.

Designed to improve the connection between fans and artists in new ways, PEEX provides fans with a quality audio experience within a live music event.

The PEEX LIVE offering enables music fans to create their own enhanced five channel mix of the live concert sound, whilst remaining immersed in the performance via its wearable technology, the PEEX rX, and easy-to-use companion app. The PEEX LIVE experience allows fans to tailor their sound experience to their preference.

PEEX LIVE is now powering select dates of Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour which is currently live across North America. Upcoming shows include Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York (8th and 9th March) – right through to Amway Center, Orlando, Florida (18 March).

Pieter Hamelink, chief executive officer of PEEX, saids: “We are delighted to be partnering with Elton John on his global tour Farewell Yellow Brick Road and seeing PEEX live in action. Feedback from fans has been incredible so far. Elton fans can now appreciate their favourite artist in a new way, which was not possible before. We can’t wait to see the technology roll out further.”

Elton John added: “Throughout my 50-year career, playing live has always been so important to me. I am passionate about giving my fans my best possible performance and making sure they get the best possible experience. Over the last 3 years I’ve been working with the talented team at PEEX, who have developed an incredible new technology that will revolutionise the way fans listen to live music. Make sure you check it out.”

After years of development and testing at over 80 live shows with A-list artists and over 15 major venues in the US and Europe, PEEX has now launched and will be coming to the UK and Europe later this year.
