KB Event, a specialist transport provider to the entertainment, conference and exhibition industries, has announced the appointment of 3 new members of staff.

Tia Ganatra (centre), Rebecca Smith (right) and John Conway (left) all join the KB Event team at their head office in Nottingham, in readiness for an exciting year ahead.

Rebecca Smith joins Howard Dearsley’s team as an operator. Smith has previously worked as a transport manager for companies within the agriculture industry. Following a short career change in property management, Rebecca’s appointment within KB fulfils her desire to get back into transport and operations, with a view to advancing to one of the departmental head roles.

Tia Ganatra’s new role sees her join as finance apprentice, part of Natalie Wright’s finance team. This is Tia’s first full time job and one she hopes will be the start of a long and successful career in accounts.

John Conway joins as the warehouse and yard operative, part of Sean Conway’s warehouse team. Having previously worked within the insurance/account handling warehouse for an appliances provider, John is anxious to apply his experience to KB Event’s growing warehouse division, with a view to offering more clients KB Event’s bespoke warehouse stock management system.

On the new appointments, Leanne McPherson, company secretary, commented: “It is wonderful to welcome more young people into the KB Event group. Their enthusiasm, determination to succeed, and fresh approach is an absolute compliment to the experience and knowledge the ‘older’ members of the team.

“KB Event is totally committed to the on-going development and support of all its staff and I continue to watch with great pride as they all progress within the business.
