HSL Group provided the lighting and LED screens for The Prodigy’s New Year’s Eve concert at London’s O2 Arena.

Production designer Andy Hurst opted to use a photographic backdrop of a Harrier ‘Jump’ Jet as his creative starting point and designed the lighting rig over the stage and above the audience.

A 20m upstage arch around the backdrop of the stage provided a hangar-like architecture, where Hurst used 32 x Robes Pointes and 16 x 2-lite Moles.

“It was a massive achievement loading in a show of this scale in one day with no production rehearsals and being ready for soundcheck at 5pm,” said Hurst.

“Everyone worked extremely hard to make it happen and we had an amazing show”.
