The Event Marketers Association (EMA) has partnered with Crucial FX, the creators of the recently launched immersive showroom, Origin, for the association’s next members event. Taking place 18 March, the evening will be open to members of EMA with discussions centred around the creation of impact and immersion at events.
Origin, which was launched last month, offers immersive AV technology, holographics, projection mapping and augmented projection. As well as using the event to showcase Origin to members of the EMA, Crucial FX will also contribute to an open discussion on creating immersion and impact, using technology.
“I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Origin in action and it really is quite amazing and I know our members are in for a real treat,” commented James Hitchen, general manager of the Event Marketers Association. “At first, they just blow your socks off with the whole experience, but afterwards you quickly look to find out what techniques and technologies are being used to create such immersion, and that’s where it’s great to have the guys from Crucial FX around the table as well.”
“We’re really looking forward to working with EMA on their next event, and delighted to show their members Origin,” commented Mark Rivkin, managing director, Crucial FX. “It’s a really nice event format, and we always welcome the chance to sit down with in house event organisers and hear what they have to say about all things events, experience, and how they think about and use technology.”
