Access All AreasYourope, the European festival association, has announced the programme for its first ever European Festival Conference.
The three-day event, which takes place at the Gradonna Mountain Resort in Austria, hopes to lure festival promoters, organisers and suppliers with seminars, workshops and discussions.
“There is an increasing number of music conferences, export events and showcase festivals where festival promoters are a target group, but none are fully dedicated to the interest of festival promoters,” said Yourope’s Christof Huber. “The European Festival Conference is unique as it goes deeper into the topics and it involves the participants in each workshop and session to get the direct knowledge exchange.”
The programme revolves around topics including harmonisation in the EU, health and safety, sustainability in events, technical innovation and more.
Along with this programme of discussions and seminars, there are also planned outdoor activities, cocktail receptions and dinners.
