Live communications agency WRG has appointed Carol Smith as its new strategic business development director as the firm looks to expand its services internationally.

Smith (pictured) previously held the role of managing director for Cirrus, where she led the 2013 merger with The Raft for the Cheshire consultancy.

“As part of our plans to accelerate our growth and expand our global operations Carol’s role will be crucial. She’ll be responsible for our brand and ensuring we have the right strategic approach to new business acquisition across key sectors and global regions,” said WRG COO, David Sharrock on the appointment.
