Winner Events supplied barriers, quad bikes, lighting towers and telehandlers to the 12 hour lawnmower race at Five Oaks, West Sussex last Saturday, where TV star Warwick Davis dropped the flag.

The company’s events manager, Iain Cooksley, was part of a team of three driving the first diesel-powered contender to take part at any British Lawn Mower Racing Association (BLMRA) event.

As a nod to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the 56 garage is reserved for an experimental vehicle, the mower, pictured, raced with the number 56.
