Grass Roots has completed a 10-city tour to launch the new Audi A3, with ‘4D projection mapping’ as the centrepiece of each event.

The A3 Heartbeat roadshow, which took place in cities around Germany, combined 270 degree mapping with 100sqm widescreen background projection, and kept the centre spotlight on the car.

“We had already delivered the Audi A4, A8 and A6 Heartbeat events, and our main objective for the A3 was to demonstrate the technical innovations, intuitive multimedia interface and the outstanding new interior design in the same high quality in each of the 10 launch locations,” a Grass Roots spokesperson said.

“As well as taking care of the creative and logistical conception and realisation of the A3 Heartbeat roadshow, we created an innovative 4D Mapping Show that used the A3 itself as the main storytelling medium.”
