Theatre track specialist Triple E returns to Event Production Show (EPS) this week, exhibiting on stand F58E.

Formed in 1984, Triple E supplies the entertainment industry with mechanical products to aid the assembly and construction of stage scenery.

A starting point for many Triple E projects, EPS will see the company highlighting its Austrian Curtain mechanism this year, which uses Triple E ChainTrack to produce a compact, easily transportable solution.

A sought after element in turning non-traditional venues, like a room on a cruise ship, restaurant or club, into a working theatre space, ChainTrack opens up many possibilities for designers.

It can turn up to 180° in as little as 2″ radius, allowing curtains to be tracked in a storage area just a fraction of their actual length. And a curtain on ChainTrack can double back on itself so it can store flat, rather than bunched, while still suspended.

David Edelstein, Triple E’s managing director, along with Lucy Edelstein, sales & projects, and Richard Black, technical sales & marketing, will be on the stand to talk tracks, projects, hooks and tabs, ModTruss™ and more.

Edelstein said: “This year is set to be even bigger and busier than 2017 and Event Production Show is a great place to catch up with clients and meet new people.”

Triple E developed the unique fabricated “I” beam configuration in 1988 and UniTrack and UniBeam have become the industry standard for silent curtain tracking.

The company currently manufactures seven curtain and scenery track ranges. Each fulfils a different requirement, from simple walkalong tracks to complex motorised ChainTrack used to vary the acoustics in concert halls.

Triple E is the exclusive European distributor for revolutionary ‘universal construction system’ ModTruss™.

Triple E recently built its first portable theatre with ModTruss™ for the Pleasance Theatre Trust, showcased at the ABTT Theatre Show 2017. Used at the Superbowl and a number of other prestigious projects in the United States, ModTruss™ has won awards on both sides of the Atlantic.
