Boreham Wood FC has signed a deal with Event Genius, to use their online ticketing, kiosk and access control services for the remainder of the 2018/19 football season.

The Vanarama National League club will join the growing number of sports clubs signed by the Leeds-based event technology company.

The deal gives fans the option to pay for cheaper standing or seating tickets in adavcne using Apple Pay, Google Pay or their bank card, from the clubs online box office.

Each e-ticket can then be sabed to a smartphone, the Ticket Arena app, or pronted at home. They each feature a unique barcode which can be quickly authenticated by turnstile staff to reduce queue times.

James Livingston, business development manager at Event Genius, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with the team at Boreham Wood to improve the match day experience at Meadow Park.

“By signing with us, fans of ‘the Wood’ can buy their tickets cheaper than they can on the dor and can spend more time in the ground enjoying the atmosphere and action, instead of waiting in line to get in.
