Shoreditch based events management company, The Fair, have been appointed to carry out the preparation, planning and execution of The Big Issue Foundation’s fifth Big London Night Walk 2015.

The Fair will be responsible for delivering event and health and safety management for the annual charity night walk event, taking place on Friday 6 March.

The 20km walk will take participants and The Big Issue vendors through some of the capitals most iconic sights including Buckingham Palace, the street art of Shoreditch and across the River Thames showcasing them in a different light by highlighting the reality of sleeping rough. 

“We are proud to be working with The Big Issue Foundation for The Big London Night Walk 2015. We pride ourselves on working closely with charities across the UK in creating impactful experiences that raise awareness and engage audiences,” said Rob Dudley, senior production manager at The Fair.

Kathryn Drake, head of corporate and community fundraising at The Big Issue, added: “By working with The Fair we know we are in great hands to deliver the Big London Night Walk. The team’s skill set and knowledge in event health and safety will be crucial to ensuring that the Big Issue Walk is a major success.”

Since starting up two years ago, The Fair has seen a growing demand for their specialist event services from charity and third sector clients. 2014 saw the Fair work with a range of UK not for profits including Uprising and Fight For Sight.

“We are looking forward to working on The Big London Night Walk 2015, to build a unique experience which will promote The Big Issue Foundations great work.” Dudley concluded.
