Showplans has won a contract with Farnborough International Limited (FIL), organiser of the Farnborough International Airshow and FIVE (Farnborough International Venue and Events). 

Showplans will provide planning services for the 2014 Farnborough Airshow, as well as FIVE’s upcoming events.

FIL’s chief operating officer Grahame Jones cited Showplans’ modern approach as a key factor in their decision to award the company with the contract. “Working with a detail-oriented specialist like Showplans brings us unique services such as their interactive 3D mapping system, helping to keep the show at the forefront of technology operationally, which is where we want to be,” Jones said. 

“In the past we’ve watched the flying displays from our office window in Fleet,” said Adam Jones, Showplans’ CEO. “It will be great to actually be a part of this year’s event!” 

Farnborough International Airshow takes place this year on 14-20 July.
