Pride in London has announced the appointment of innovision as its new production partner for 2018.

The new partnership follows confirmation from the Mayor of London that Pride in London has been re-appointed to organise The Parade for a further five years.

Together with innovision, Pride in London will begin developing the 2018 event for the LGBT+ community in London.

Pride in London selected innovision for its experience with other major London events including the Athletes Parade after the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012 and 2016 and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

innovision stood out for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, both within their workplace and supply chain. This is demonstrated by the company’s own event, Parallel London, a sports festival focussed on accessibility.

Siobhan Linard, operations director of Pride in London, said: “Underbelly, our production partner for the past four years, have been pivotal in helping us grow Pride into the event it is today. Underbelly are moving to focus more on their own-brand productions, and we wish them well with their exciting future. We are now looking forward to developing The Parade further with our exciting new partner, innovision.”

Mona Mohtadi, operations director at innovision, said: “We are particularly excited to be working with the Pride in London team. This is not only because diversity and inclusion at the heart of our values at innovision; but the potential of our combined knowledge and expertise provides a dynamic platform for one of the world’s best loved Pride Parades to continue to flourish. The team at innovision is very much looking forward to a highly successful collaboration and sharing our experience of the past 10 years; where the agency has been at the heart of many of London’s most significant major events.”
