SKALAR, an immersive kinetic light installation created by artist and designer Christopher Bauder and musician and composer Kangding Ray has opened in Berlin.

The installation featured Ninety Robe Pointes, 65x double sided mirrors suspended on 195 special motors each with a perimeter ring of 180 addressable pixels, all in one large cathedral-like industrial building.

The installation is in the shell of a derelict power station that once electrified central East Berlin when the city was divided by cold war politics.
