Catering company Mecco provided meals for more than 6,000 hospitality guests throughout the week long Barclay’s ATP World Tour Finals on 13-20 November.

The tournament, which took place at The O2, marked the end of the 2016 men’s professional tennis season. British tennis champion Andy Murray triumphed over rival Novak Djokovic to retain his newly-acquired title of World No 1.

Mecco, which is the premium event catering arm of One Event Management, partnered with the ATP to provide menus for the players as well as creating seasonal dishes for guests.

The food on offer included dishes such as wild sea bass with shellfish velouté and crispy spinach and roasted squash arancini with hazelnut pesto.

Jeremy Wood, chairman of Mecco commented: “We love the fast pace of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals and being in such a landmark venue adds to the excitement.

“Working with the ATP is an utter pleasure, as they have very much innovated the tennis scene. We too thrive on change and we bounce off their constant ingenuity, as it means that we can also develop and excite through the guest and player entertaining.”

Adam Hogg, event director of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, added: “We are thrilled to be working with Mecco once again. They provide a first-class offering that meets the needs of our players, our sponsors and our tournament guests.

“It is a joy to work with a company that embraces the requirements of the tournament and ensures premium delivery of a world class catering operation.”
