Marshall will raffle a 1962 Bluesbreaker combo amp to raise funds for Milton Keynes’ charity, Willen Hospice.

The Hospice provides 24-hour palliative care for terminally ill patients over the age of 18, without any cost to patients or their families.

“We were over the moon when Marshall approached [us] to get involved with fundraising,” Willen Hospice chief executive, Paul Hinson, said. “The custom-built amp is an innovative and creative way of getting our name and cause out to the wider public.

“We’re hoping that music fans everywhere will help us
increase our fundraising target this year and make this
one of our best raffles ever.”

The amp has been handmade for the occasion at
Marshall’s custom shop in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
It features a gold-plated chassis, original ‘Bluesbreaker’
cloth and has been finished in a classic black Levant vinyl covering.
