Brand communications and event specialists Logistik have been appointed to deliver the MOBO Awards (22 October) for the ninth consecutive year.

For the awards’ return to London – the first in five years – the MOBO’s will be broadcast live with only a thirty second delay straight on ITV2 as part of a new three year partnership.

Working closely with the brand from the off to produce the show, Logistik have designed a seamless mechanism of event production and management with the awards in order to produce a suitable spectacle.

Jessie J, Professor Green, Krept and Konan, and Nicole Scherzinger are all lined up to perform at the awards, taking place at the SSE Arena Wembley. Nominees Sam Smith, Tinie Tempah, Rudimental and Katy B are also expected to attend.

“It is always a pleasure and an honour to work with MOBO on their iconic event and we hold the responsibility and relationship that we have with Kanya King and the organisation in extremely high regard,” said Logistik managing director James Wilkins. “It is always great to have the opportunity to work with live performances and have to consider the scale and impact of an event across television as well as live, these are challenges we enjoy facing every year and with this new partnership with ITV2 this year’s awards are certain to be spectacular.”
