East London events venue Troxy will host the Relentless Kerrang! Awards for the second year running on 12 June.

The awards, which annually celebrate contributions made to the music industry, will be co-hosted by Andrew WK and Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian.

Last year the awards celebrated its 20th anniversary with Biffy Clyro, Fallout Boy and You Me at Six all scooping awards, while English heavy metal band Venom won the Kerrang! Icon gong.

“After a fantastic first year hosting the awards at Troxy, we fell in love with the venue’s raw form, large capacity interior and its vintage original features, so that we had to come back,” said senior event producer at Bauer Media, Marguerite Peck. “I can’t wait for another night of mayhem, where we anticipate even more lost shoes and phones than last year!”

Daniel Smith, business development manager at Troxy, added: “It is great to continue our partnership with Marguerite and the team at Bauer Media to put on another night of rock’n’roll debauchery for the Kerrang! Awards. The venue’s musical legacy within the industry lends itself to hosting such a prestigious awards ceremony and we are looking forward to seeing what this year’s escapades will bring.”
