Stuart WoodImmersive theatre and dining experts Funicular are bringing a unique experience to London’s underground this Autumn.
Journey to the Underworld will see Pedley Street Station transformed into a hellish landscape, playing host to a ‘dark and romantic fairytale’. It will run from 28 September – 7 November.
Guests will join Claude, the shackled conductor, and his lowly assistant Gordy on a quest for absolution and redemption. Along the way, they will do their best to outwit the seductive Gatekeeper, the hunched Harbinger and the damnable Dark One.
They will also be served a meal courtesy of 2017 Masterchef finalist Louisa Ellis.
She will be designing an imaginatively curated three-course menu fit for all dietary requirements that ties in with the theatrical narrative.
Actors James Morton and Charlie Bond are also on board to guide guests throughout their evening journey.
