The London Stock Exchange has named Hawthorn among the most inspiring companies in the creative industries sector.

Published in 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2015, the report names technical production solutions company Hawthorn among those that helps inspire all sectors of UK PLC. Events management agency Smyle was also named in the report.

Established nearly 30 years ago, Hawthorn works across a variety of events, festivals, concerts and theatres in the UK and abroad. Hawthorn employs more than 130 people in offices in Cambridge, London and Old Dalby, Leicestershire.

“Hawthorn is honoured to be included in the London Stock Exchange’s report,” MD Martin Hawthorn said. “Being named as the only technical production company in the creative industries sector is an accolade that we have worked hard for. The attention to detail, quality of delivery, and of course the creative design and technical implementation has accelerated our growth beyond the general economic trends in the UK economy.”
