Flare Audio has won a contract to supply sound across both the Shakedown Festival in Brighton at the end of September and the new Love Supreme Jazz Festival, which takes place 11 miles outside the town on the first weekend in July.

“Flare will be providing both festivals with the best speakers I’ve ever heard in a field,” promoter, Nick Beveridge, said. “With the introduction of [the company’s] new Space technology, we’re confident that Shakedown and Love Supreme will be delivering the latest and best sound available.”

“By achieving waveform integrity, Space effectively makes the loudspeaker enclosure sonically invisible, so what is heard is just the information supplied to the loudspeaker driver,” Flare CEO, Davies Roberts, who designed the system, said.

Flare’s new touring line array, Space X5, will provide for the main stages at both festivals, while X3s and S1s will be used for monitors, side fills and smaller stages.
