A new open-air club venue will open 17 November in Sao Paolo, Brazil, by the name of Ame.

The 2,500 capacity space is the sister venue to globally renowned club Laroc, and will host underground house, techno and tech house. Its opening party will feature Dutch techno DJ Joris Voorn.

The space will make use of a 16-metre high ceiling, and will feature palm trees, rock gardens and sun loungers to complement the jungle terrain surrounding the venue.

The new venue can be used in conjunction with Laroc—which has already been voted into DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs poll and boasts huge LED panels, confetti explosions, massive pyrotechnic displays and avant guards design—for multi stage events and festivals that bring even more world class names to the region.

Commenting on the opening, the owners of the venue said: “Ame will offer a new way to host underground parties. We will continue to value the sunset and bring a high level of production and design a luxury environment deep in the middle of the beautifully natural site.

“AME Club has come to fill a gap in the market and contribute to the growth of the local scene, while also allowing us to host festivals connecting both clubs with two stages.”
