Nicola MacdonaldCloud-based venue search platform Eventopedia has announced it has relaunched and adopted Microsoft’s Azure cloud services.
The new platform uses serverless microservers, allowing Eventopedia to compete against some of the biggest digital businesses in the world. The move also means that the platform is fully mobile ready and can securely integrate with third party systems through the Microsoft cloud.
This is the third iteration of Eventopedia, and the company enlisted event planners and venue owners to take part in user workshops to create a product beneficial to all industry stakeholders.
Eventopedia creates time and cost savings, operational efficiencies, improved data security, market intelligence, and flexible tailored solutions, said the company’s CEO Toby Heelis.
“This product development positions Eventopedia for rapid growth owing to the easy integration, via our API, to leading business and hospitality platforms,” he added.
