Organisers of Event Buyers Live are gearing themselves up for the second edition of the show as it moves to the Luton Hoo Hotel in Bedfordshire next year.

Event organisers and suppliers are set to be brought together again on 4-5 March for scheduled face-to-face meetings, and a personal programme of 25-minute appointments allowing organisers to source relevant and suitable suppliers.

“Our analysis and feedback from this year’s show indicates that 40 per cent of the organisers who attended have already awarded business, with 78 per cent still engaged with the suppliers they met,” said Event co-ordinator of Event Buyers Live Neil Fagg.

“Given that our VIP buyers were managing combined budgets of £117,750,000, this represents a significant amount of business conducted at Event Buyers Live. We have made some tweaks to last year’s format to facilitate more networking opportunities but we’re staying true to the core of the event, which was a resounding success.

“We have a new location for 2015, the Luton Loo Hotel in Bedfordshire, which allows us to expand and deliver a professional environment where people can meet and share ideas.

“We have been researching key events scheduled for 2015 and 2016 to see where the big spenders are likely to be, and are now opening registration for hosted buyers alongside researching our seminar topics in line with the issues across the industry.”

The meeting is the start of an open discussion and it provides organisers and suppliers with an opportunity to spend a day and a half in an informal, yet professional, environment that is tailored to meet specific needs.

The event will also feature a series of case studies, round table discussions, problem-solving workshops and seminars.

The inaugural event in January 2014 was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Marlow.
