The Event Production Show and International Confex have concluded a successful two-day event by announcing a 50 per cent growth in floor space compared to 2015.

The two shows shared Olympia London with the PA Show and EvenTech 16, which delivered inspiring and educational talks on event technology in the new Technology Theatre.

This year saw the revival of the Eventice, an Apprentice-style competition offering event management students a chance to win a year’s employment in the industry of their choice.

The Event Production Show featured panel discussions on topics ranging from RFID and cashless technology to disability access at events and the effects of events on cities.

“It’s been another amazing show and we’re really proud of the rich content and engagement our exhibitors have helped us create for our growing number of visitors,” said Liz Agostini, event director of International Confex. “We’re really creating something here for the industry, it’s a great showcase of the very best of the industry and a massive injection of confidence and business in UK events.”
