Cheltenham Jazz Festival has confirmed an array of stars for its 20th anniversary including Jamie Cullum and Beverley Knight.

The festival also confirmed Guy Garvey, performing tracks from his 2015 album, the BBC Orchestra & Guy Barker Big Band and multi-instrumentalist Lianne La Havas.

Other notable additions to the line-up include Jazz Jamaica, Courtney Pine and Lizz Wright & Frankfurt Radio Big Band. The Musical Encounters series will return in 2016 with a live remixed performance from Soweto Kinch and his trio feat. Gregory Hutchinson and a new project from pianists Sarah Nicolls and Kit Downes.

The festival will continue its partnership with BBC Radio 2, with the station broadcasting live on-site sessions and special programmes throughout the week.

Cheltenham Jazz Festival will take place from 27 April to 2 May in a tented festival village in Cheltenham’s Montpellier Gardens.
