Bradford Council’s City Park is to be transformed into an ever-changing artwork for five days in October.

Using video projection, international artist duo, Adept, will create a light and water-based installation, A Mirrored Pool of Thought, on the park’s 4,000sq m pool.

Inspired by American writer/poet’s Sylvia Plath’s phrase ‘How frail the human heart must be – a mirrored pool of thought’, eight video projectors will create the illusion of a pond filled with multi-coloured kio carp. An artwork that encourages physical interaction.

Visitors to A Mirrored Pool of Thought are therefore invited to interact, play and ‘disrupt’ the projection.
