Nicola MacdonaldArts and well-being festival Always the Sun, which was launched in 2016 by Guildford community hub The Boileroom, has announced it will return for 2017.
The festival, which first took place on 10-11 September 2016, was initially launched to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Boileroom. It featured interactive creative workshops, as well as a selection of locally crafted food and drink.
The 2017 festival will take place on 8-10 September at Stoke Park in Guildford and will include various family friendly creative and community areas. Wellness area House of Hatha will return, as will the Outdoor Kitchen and creative workshop space Imaginarium.
Dom Frazer, founder of Always The Sun, commented: “We are over the moon to announce that we will be adding an extra day; making Always The Sun a three day event in the heart of Guildford. We will continue to collaborate with our fantastic partners, to strive to innovate and celebrate the vibrant creative culture the town has to offer.”
